Certifications

We don't have a problem with trust, of course. Still, when it comes to the unconditional fulfillment of sustainable fashion standards, you want to be extra careful not to work with imitators. We only work with certified factories in More Than Basics.

Some of the certificates owned by our business partners that we manufacture together are listed below.

GOTS: Global Organic Textile Standard is like the essential guidebook for organic clothing. It sets the highest ecological, sustainable, and social requirements for natural fibers that do not contain pesticides and chemicals.

SEDEX: Sedex is not a certificate. But it is a nonprofit membership organization that strengthens ethical supply chains. Applying SEDEX standards enables "doing things that are good for everyone." It sounds like an excellent approach to us.

BSCI: "Social Compliance Initiative" for Business. Companies are committed to implementing 11 fundamental rights to work for their workers in their supply chain. It is an approach that independently audits are carried out for a better workplace, progresses step by step, and ultimately aims to provide employees' best conditions.

OEKO-TEX 100: STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent testing and certification system that is valid and accepted worldwide for raw, semi-finished, and complete textile products at all process levels. Besides, it is a guide system for the methods and materials used in production.
